Rolando Rodriguez is a Los Angeles-born Salvadoran artist who studied Architecture at Columbia University in the City of New York. His short fiction has been published in Boston Review, shortlisted for the Aura Estrada Short Story Contest, and the Halifax Ranch Fiction Prize. For his feature-length screenplay, he was named a Notable Writer in the Outfest Screenwriting Lab. He wrote, designed, and directed The Lonely Plays, a short film trilogy. A solo retrospective exhibition of his visual art, ropa sucia, explored intergenerational queerness, immigration, and memory.
